In today’s Blast from the Past post I’m taking you to Trieste, a city in northeastern Italy by the Adriatic sea. Because it is very close to the Slovenian border, it was an ideal place to visit on a day trip back in autumn of 2008 when I still lived in Slovenia. Here are some photographs I took on this trip. I hope you’ll enjoy them!
Blast from the Past is back! This time I’m taking you to one of the most scenic towns in Slovenia – to Piran. I’ve visited this lovely seaside town many times, but this set of photos was made on amazing day trip with my friends in spring 2008. Hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I enjoy exploring Piran on this trip!
Today’s post from the Blast from the Past will bring you to Slovenian seaside, to the beach resort town Portorož (Portorose in Italian). Located by the Adriatic sea is with its numerous hotels, restaurants, spas, casinos, beach and marina popular destination to visit.
I have visited Portorož too many times to remember all of my visits. My parents took me there for a summer holidays when I was younger. My boyfriend and I went there for a romantic weekend getaway. When our foreign friends were visiting Slovenia we stopped in Portorož for a day trip and so on. This particular set of photos was taken on a cold November morning in 2013 after the sleep-over in one of Portorož’s hotels on our way from Luzern to Maribor.
