Sunset is a gorgeous time of day. No matter where in the world you are, when the daylight turn to dusk, the sky glows in the most amazing palette of colours. Here are some of the lovely sunsets I’ve managed to capture on my travels around the globe:
From 9th to 15th August 2016, I’ve attended the road-trip around Slovenia with my husband, and two friends from Germany. Six days were not nearly enough to see everything what my home-country has to offer, but it was enough our friends get the sense of how diverse and beautiful Slovenia is.
Stražun forrest is a large green space in my hometown Maribor in Slovenia and is a popular spot for walking and jogging. As it lies in close proximity to my parents’ home, I often go there for a walk with my parents’ dogs.
Yesterday, my mum, my brother, and I spent some quality time together and went for a walk to Pohorje, a hill above my home-town Maribor.
My hometown Maribor is second largest city in Slovenia. It is located at the North-Eastern part of the country, in Slovenian Syria (Štajerska) region. Nested between the Pohorje Hill at one side and wine-growing hills at the other is a lovely place worth visiting.

Being in a relationship with a sports enthusiast means not only being familiar with the latest sports results, but also visiting lots of different sports events. As I partly share my boyfriend’s passion for sports, I enjoy accompanying him to some of those events. Previous weekend we attended Alpine Ski World Cup race in our home-town Maribor: Golden Fox Trophy (Zlata lisica).
Golden Fox Trophy is one of two alpine ski World Cup races held in Slovenia. It has long history. The first race at Pohorje was organised in 1964. Since then, every year, if the snow conditions and weather allows it, the best female alpine skiers gather in Maribor and compete in Slalom and Giant Slalom. Continue reading
